Nagpur: A pack of stray dogs attacked a deer at Leverage Green Park in Koradi area on Thursday, January 9. The injured deer was rescued by locals, who promptly alerted the authorities. The deer is now under observation and receiving treatment.
Hariharsingh Gaherwar, a resident of Leverage Green Park, Aryanagar, shared details of the incident with Nagpur News.
“In our serene neighborhood, deer are often sighted. On Thursday morning, one such deer wandered into the vicinity. Unfortunately, a pack of dogs attacked her, causing injuries to her backside. We managed to rescue her and informed the authorities. Thankfully, the deer is out of danger and is currently undergoing treatment,” Gaherwar said.
The incident has raised concerns among residents about the safety of wildlife in the area and the growing stray dog population.
