Nagpur: In a significant operation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended Ashfaq Ahmed, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) of Nagpur Rural, and another agent while accepting a bribe here, on Monday, January 6.

According to officials, the ARTO and the agent were caught red-handed during the operation. The duo was allegedly demanding and accepting bribes in exchange for clearing official transport-related procedures.

Further investigations are underway to uncover the extent of the illegal activities and identify other potential accomplices.
