Cyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Dhantoli, Nagpur

Nagpur: A fatal hit-and-run accident near Ajni Chowk claimed the life of a 64-year-old man, Bhagwan Harihar Kamble here, on Monday. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when Kamble was cycling home after finishing his duty as a security guard.
According to police, a speeding truck (MH 31 CQ 8939) struck him near Metro Pillar Nos. 174 and 175 in Dhantoli area, causing severe injuries. The truck driver fled the scene.
Kamble was rushed to Government Medical College & Hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment at 10:20 p.m.
A case under sections 106(1), 281 of BNS, and section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act has been registered against the unknown driver.
