Nagpur: A heartwarming initiative promoting inclusivity and togetherness, “Khel Khel Mein,” was held at Rajiv Gandhi Udyan, Trimurti Nagar here, on December 29, 2024. Organized by Sankalp Pediatric Rehabilitation Centre, the event showcased the significance of public spaces designed for children with special needs.

The inclusive park features a thoughtfully designed play area equipped with safety and comfort in mind, enabling children with disabilities to enjoy without barriers. This initiative underlines the importance of fostering diversity and creating spaces where every child feels a sense of belonging.

The event was spearheaded by Dr. Meenakshi Wankhede, along with a dedicated team of therapists, including Dr. Oshin Bagde, Dr. Sakshi Vedi, and Dr. Nayan Fulewale. Together, they curated engaging activities ensuring equal participation and joy for all attendees.

Children aged 3 to 30 years, along with their parents, participated in various games and activities, creating lasting memories. The event was supported by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), whose staff and officers played a vital role in ensuring its success.
