Burglary Reported in Imamwada, Nagpur; Valuables Worth ₹1.9 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: A burglary was reported in the Imamwada area of Nagpur, where valuables worth ₹1.9 lakh were stolen from a locked residence. The incident occurred between 12 p.m. on November 27, 2024, and 12 p.m. on December 3, 2024.


According to the police, Siddharth Shankar Dongre, 67, a resident of Plot No. 313, near NIT Garden, Dahipura, Untkhana, left his house locked to visit his son in Raipur with his family. Upon returning, he discovered that unknown miscreants had broken the lock on the main door, gained entry, and stolen items, including an iPhone, a diamond-studded pendant, and an HP laptop, with a total estimated value of ₹1,90,000.


Based on Siddharth Dongre’s complaint, an FIR has been registered at Imamwada Police Station under Sections 305, 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS.


Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits. Further details are awaited.
