Nagpur: A 29-year-old man identified as Shailendra Ramdas Chakravarty, a resident of Jabalpur, succumbed to injuries sustained in a railway accident. The incident occurred near Pole No. 1124, under the jurisdiction of Yashodharanagar Police Station, on January 2, 2025.

Chakravarty reportedly lost his balance and fell while traveling from Kalamna Railway Station to Nagpur. He was admitted to Medical Hospital for treatment but was declared dead on January 7, 2025.

The police have contacted his relatives based on information retrieved from his mobile phone. A case of accidental death has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
