“This is my first stadium experience, and after a long struggle to get tickets, I just want to soak in the atmosphere with a massive crowd. Nagpuri chants like ‘Gaccha gachar, gaccha gachar hu ha hu!’ have always added to the excitement. I can’t wait to cheer for Team India in full Nagpuri style,” shared Jangade.

Fans attending previous matches at the VCA Stadium have often faced issues related to mismanagement and traffic congestion.

“I hope this time the authorities have learned from the chaos during the India vs Australia Test match. Traffic at Jamtha turns into a nightmare on match days. However, with adequate measures by the Nagpur Traffic Police, I’m optimistic about a smoother experience this time,” said Akash Meshram, a local businessman.

Ankita Mishra, a CA aspirant, expressed her excitement to watch cricketing stars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in action.

“I bought tickets just to see and cheer for Virat and Rohit. Calling players by their nicknames and sledging the opposition — that’s part of the fun. However, black marketing of tickets remains an issue, and I hope the authorities take strict action against such miscreants,” she added.
