Nagpur: A shocking case of fratricide was reported in Gulshan Nagar, under the jurisdiction of Kalamna Police Station, where a 23-year-old man killed his elder brother during an argument.

The victim, identified as Raju Kumbhlal Yadav (30), was at home when he got into a verbal altercation with his younger brother, Vijay Kumbhlal Yadav (23). In a fit of rage, Vijay allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and attacked Raju on his head and abdomen, leaving him severely injured.

Neighbors rushed Raju to Mayo Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Following a complaint from their mother, 60-year-old Rambai Kumbhlal Yadav, police personnel from Kalamna Police Station registered a case under BNS sections 103(1) and 352. The accused has been apprehended, and further investigation is underway.
