Nagpur: In a bid to alleviate traffic congestion on the Inner Ring Road in South-West and South Nagpur, two new flyovers are set to be constructed.
The first project involves the construction of a railway overpass connecting Radisson Blu Hotel to Manish Nagar, with an estimated cost of Rs 82 crore. This flyover aims to address the heavy vehicular movement in the area, providing a seamless travel experience for commuters.
The second project will link the ongoing flyovers at Manewada Square and Mahalgi Nagar Square with an additional flyover. This new structure, estimated to cost Rs 142 crore, will establish a direct connection between Shatabdi Square and Dighori Square, streamlining traffic flow across key junctions.
The Public Works Department’s World Bank Project Division has initiated the necessary processes for these ambitious infrastructural developments, which are expected to transform the city’s traffic dynamics significantly.
