Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a planned power outage on Sunday, May 25, due to essential maintenance and repair work on the 33 kV Uppalwadi power line. The electricity supply will be disrupted from 7 AM to 12 Noon across several parts of Central Avenue and nearby areas.
The scheduled maintenance will affect multiple 11 kV feeders connected to the New Mayo Substation, including Bhandkheda, Chandralok, Mayo, Mominpura, Ansar Nagar, Bhagwagar, Hyadri Marg, and Govind Bhavan.
As a result, electricity supply will be suspended in the following areas:
- Ansar Nagar
- Dobi Nagar
- Salim Leader Road
- Mohammed Ali Road
- Kasabpura
- Jama Masjid Road
- Bhagwagar Chowk
- Geetanjali Chowk
- Chandralok Building
- Nalasab Chowk
- Bakramandi
- Teen Nal Chowk
- Topre Vihir Area
- Timki
- Kabrastan Road
- Bhandkheda
- Rambhaji Marg and surrounding localities.
MSEDCL has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and has urged citizens to cooperate during the planned outage.
The power utility has assured that the maintenance work is crucial for ensuring reliable electricity supply in the future and has requested residents to make necessary arrangements in advance.
