Nagpur: In the state-wide 100-day administrative reform campaign launched by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Nagpur Zone of MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd.) has emerged as the top-performing division, while the Nagpur Regional Office has secured the third position among all regional offices.
The initiative, aimed at streamlining administrative functions and enhancing public service delivery, saw participation from government offices across Maharashtra. Offices were assessed on key parameters including website enhancement, office infrastructure, cleanliness, grievance redressal mechanisms, ease of living initiatives, promotion of investment, and effective use of technology.
MSEDCL divisions across the state actively participated in the campaign, with Nagpur Zone standing out for its consistent improvements and adherence to reform goals. The recognition has added to the responsibility of the zone’s officials and staff to sustain and build upon their achievements.
The announcement of the top three offices per department was recently made as part of the campaign’s conclusion.
Congratulatory messages poured in from senior MSEDCL officials, including Regional Director Paresh Bhagwat, Chief Engineer Suhas Rangari (Gondia Zone), Chief Engineer Dilip Dodke (Nagpur Zone), Chief Engineer Harish Gajbe (Chandrapur Zone), Chief Engineer Rajesh Naik (Akola Zone), and Chief Engineer Ashok Salunke (Amravati Zone).
