The department has encouraged citizens to report any credible information regarding illegal cash movements or distribution of black money during the election period.
To facilitate this, the Income Tax Department has provided various channels for citizens to share information, including toll-free numbers and a WhatsApp service. Photos, videos, or other evidence can be submitted confidentially, and the department has assured that all reports will be handled with strict discretion to protect the identity of the informants.
