Nagpur: In a swift operation, Crime Branch Unit 5 seized a truck loaded with six brass of sand near Mankapur Square on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The truck driver, identified as Amol Uttam Pawar, failed to present valid royalty and vehicle documents during the inspection.

Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s owner, Balram Yadav, was also involved in evading government revenue by illegally transporting sand. Authorities seized items worth ₹25.45 lakh, including the truck, sand, and a mobile phone.

A case has been registered at Mankapur Police Station under relevant sections of the BNS. Police are continuing their investigation to uncover further details about the illegal operation.
