Nagpur: The Crime Branch Unit 5 solved a burglary case in Jaripatka and detained a juvenile involved in the theft. On the night of January 5-6, 2025, a pan kiosk in Samata Nagar was robbed of ₹4,000 in cash, cigarette packets, and other items valued at ₹8,500.

Jaripatka Police registered the case under relevant sections of the BNS based on a complaint filed by the kiosk owner.

Acting on credible leads and CCTV footage, the Crime Branch apprehended a juvenile, who confessed to committing the theft along with two accomplices. Items worth ₹1,03,981, including stolen goods and the vehicle used in the crime, were seized.

The juvenile has been handed over to Jaripatka police for further action.
