Double House Burglary in Jaripatka, Thieves Decamp with Valuables Worth ₹3.55 Lakh From Neighbouring Houses

Nagpur: A major burglary incident has been reported in the Jaripatka area of Nagpur, where unidentified thieves targeted two neighbouring houses and stole valuables worth ₹3,55,100.


The first complainant, Dinesh Deorao Raut (42), a resident of Nagarjun Colony, had locked his house and gone to Kalmeshwar with his family for a wedding between 12:00 PM and 3:40 PM on April 30. During this time, burglars broke open the gate and main door, entered the house, and looted ₹60,000 in cash, gold and silver ornaments, a Rolex wristwatch, and a laptop, totaling ₹2,31,500.


In the same time frame, the adjacent house belonging to Dharmendra Bansod (26) was also targeted. The accused broke the main door lock and stole gold and silver jewelry worth ₹1,23,600 from a bedroom locker.


Jaripatka Police have registered a case against unknown accused under relevant legal sections. A search operation is underway to trace the culprits.
