Nagpur: Passengers traveling on a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) Shivshahi bus and a DNR Express private bus experienced a severe jolt after the two buses collided at the busy Chhatrapati Square in Nagpur on Thursday, January 30.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported. All passengers escaped with minor injuries. The DNR Express was moving in front when the Shivshahi bus rammed into it from behind. The impact was so forceful that the Shivshahi’s windshield shattered, while the private bus sustained damage to its rear.
The collision caused significant traffic congestion on the busy road, which is often chaotic due to private buses and the lack of police presence. However, police personnel promptly arrived at the scene following the incident and cleared the way to restore traffic flow.
