Nagpur: In a heartbreaking incident, a 2-year-old girl died after an iron gate fell on her head at her residence in Kunjilalpeth, Shyam Nagar under Ajni Police Station limits.

The incident occurred on March 31 when the child, Arya, was playing near the iron gate. A 10-year-old boy, her uncle’s son, accidentally caused the gate to topple over while attempting to close it. Arya sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to Medical Hospital.

Despite receiving treatment, she succumbed to her injuries on April 3 at 7:30 PM. Ajni Police have registered a case of accidental death and further investigation is underway.
