Nagpur: Bringing pride to the city, 25-year-old Saurabh Yewale from Nagpur has secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 669 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024-25 — and that too, in his very first attempt.

A former student of Bhavan’s School and Shivaji Science College, Saurabh completed his engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Delhi in 2022. His academic journey and disciplined preparation have culminated in this remarkable achievement in one of the country’s toughest competitive exams.

Saurabh is the son of Ramesh Yewale, currently serving as the Additional Family Manager to the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, and Madhuri Yewale, Superintendent at Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University.

The Yewale family’s dedication to public service and education appears to have inspired Saurabh to pursue a career in civil services. His success has been widely celebrated in academic and administrative circles in Nagpur.
