Nagpur: With cricket fever gripping the city ahead of the India vs England One Day International (ODI) at the Jamtha Stadium, Nagpur Traffic Police has issued detailed guidelines to ensure smooth traffic movement and hassle-free parking for spectators. The match is expected to draw massive crowds, and commuters are urged to follow the instructions to avoid congestion and delays.


Key Guidelines for Spectators:

1. Route Directions: All vehicles must follow the Nagpur-Wardha Road route until Jamtha T-point for seamless access to the stadium.

2. Four-Wheeler Parking:

• Designated parking spaces for four-wheelers are Parking B, D1, and D2, located directly in front of the stadium. Additional parking is available in Parking E and F.

• Post-match, vehicles parked in B, D1, and D2 must use the designated exit routes.

3. Two-Wheeler Parking:

• Two-wheelers can park in Parking C, adjacent to the stadium. If filled, additional space is available in Parking F.

4. Overflow Parking:

• Once Parking B, C, D1, and D2 reach 75% capacity, all vehicles will be diverted from Jamtha T-point toward Wardha Road to Parking E and F, around 1 km from the T-point.

• Shuttle buses will operate to and from Parking E and F to Jamtha T-point for convenience.

5. Early Arrival: Spectators are advised to reach the stadium at least two hours before the match begins to avoid last-minute traffic delays.

6. Metro Service: Commuters are encouraged to use metro services till Khapri station, where shuttle buses will transport them to the stadium.

7. Traffic Management: Traffic personnel will be deployed along the entire route and in parking areas, with signages put up to guide spectators.

8. Heavy Vehicle Diversion: To ease traffic movement, heavy vehicles will be diverted from Nagpur-Wardha Highway to Samruddhi Mahamarg.

9. Towing Vans: Five towing vans will be operational along the route and in the vicinity of the stadium. Spectators are urged not to park vehicles on the roads to avoid towing.


The Nagpur Traffic Police has sought the cooperation of spectators to ensure a peaceful and well-managed event. By following the issued guidelines, attendees can enjoy the cricket match without facing traffic-related inconveniences.
