Maha Metro Extends Train Services Till 11:30 PM for India-England ODI Match in Nagpur

Nagpur: In a move to facilitate smooth travel for cricket enthusiasts, Maha Metro Nagpur has announced extended train services till 11:30 PM on February 6, 2025, coinciding with the first One Day International (ODI) match between India and England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium, Jamtha.


With heavy traffic congestion anticipated on the roads leading to the stadium, Maha Metro’s extended services provide a convenient and hassle-free travel option for spectators. The last metro train will depart from Khapri Metro Station at 11:30 PM, ensuring seamless connectivity for fans returning from the match.


Spectators can travel from Khapri to Automotive Square or switch lines at the Sitabuldi Interchange to reach Lokmanya Nagar or Prajapati Nagar on the Aqua Line. This service will enable cricket fans to avoid the anticipated vehicular congestion on match day.


To further ensure smooth travel, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has arranged special bus services for first and last-mile connectivity. Buses will operate between New Airport Metro Station and the stadium, allowing passengers to conveniently switch between metro and bus services.


Maha Metro has urged cricket fans to opt for metro and bus services to avoid traffic snarls and ensure timely travel on match day.
