Nagpur: With the April 30, 2025, deadline for High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) fast approaching, vehicle owners from Nagpur who have moved to cities like Mumbai and Pune can now get their HSRP installed at their current location. This initiative aims to address challenges faced by students and working professionals struggling to travel back to Nagpur for the process.

To streamline the procedure, Nagpur Regional Transport Office (RTO) has arranged for designated vendors across Maharashtra to facilitate HSRP installation. M/s Rosmerta Safety Systems Limited has been assigned for vehicles registered in Nagpur city and Nagpur East (MH 31 and MH 40 series), while M/s Real Mazon India Limited handles Nagpur rural vehicles.

Residents currently in Mumbai, Pune, or other cities can now select their local RTO office while booking an appointment. For instance, Mumbai residents should opt for (MH01) and Pune residents for (MH12). This ensures a hassle-free experience and prevents technical errors that occur when selecting Nagpur as the installation location while being in another city.

This initiative is expected to provide much-needed relief to Nagpur residents pursuing studies or employment in other parts of Maharashtra, ensuring they meet the HSRP deadline without unnecessary travel.
