Nagpur: Central Railway’s Nagpur Division is pleased to share significant progress on the transformative development projects at Ajni Station. These initiatives are designed to enhance passenger amenities and operational efficiency, laying the groundwork for a world-class transportation hub.

Key Project Highlights:

Type IV Quarters: Construction of two residential towers (Ground + 7 floors) is progressing steadily. Structural frameworks for both towers are complete, and internal and external finishing work is underway.

East Side Station Building: The G+3 east-side station building's structural framework is fully completed. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installations are in progress, and internal and external plastering is nearing completion.

West Side Station Building: Utility shifting and integration are underway. Demolition of the existing Metro Station Building is 90% complete. Pile foundation and pile cap work for the new West Side Station building are progressing at a rapid pace.

Platform and FOB/Concourse Work: Piling and pile cap work for the North, South, and Central Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) and the station concourse are progressing as planned.

The Ajni Station development project has achieved 41% overall physical progress, marking a significant milestone in its journey towards modernisation.
