Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old woman was allegedly harassed inside an ATM booth in the Tehsil police jurisdiction here on Sunday, February 2.

The accused, identified as Prakash Purushottam Pathrabe (37), a resident of Jagannath Budhwari, Timki, allegedly made obscene remarks and inappropriate gestures towards the woman.

The incident occurred on Sunday when the woman, a resident of the Shantinagar area, visited an ATM in Itwari to withdraw money. Prakash entered the booth and initiated lewd conversations with her. Despite her objections, he continued with his inappropriate behavior.

Distressed by the incident, the woman immediately approached Tehsil police station. Upon receiving the complaint, police personnel registered a case and launched a search operation, eventually apprehending the accused.

Further investigation is underway.
