Nagpur: Burglars Strike Wathoda Home While Woman Is Away Visiting Sister

Nagpur: A burglary case has been registered at Wathoda Police Station after an unknown thief broke into a residence in Siddheshwar Nagar, Wathoda, and stole valuables worth ₹2.2 lakh.
According to police sources, Between 7:30 PM on March 11 and 6:30 AM on March 13, the house owner, Daya Santulal Ahirwar (49), locked her house and went to her sister’s place in Pardi. During this time, an unidentified burglar broke the main door lock and stole ₹60,000 in cash and gold jewelry worth ₹1.6 lakh from a wooden wardrobe locker.
Based on Ahirwar’s complaint, PSI Patil has registered a case under Sections 305(A), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. Police are investigating the incident.
