Unidentified Vehicle Kills Pedestrian in MIDC, Nagpur

Nagpur: Police have registered a case against an unidentified vehicle driver for causing a fatal accident that claimed the life of a 55-year-old man in MIDC on January 19.
The victim, identified as Chitrasen Bansilal Rahangdale, was walking near Bhimnagar Water Tank when a speeding vehicle hit him and fled the scene. The victim succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a local hospital on January 21.
Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s brother, the police registered a case under Sections 106 and 281 of the BNS, along with Sections 134, 177, 184, and 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Investigations are ongoing.
