Tarri-Poha Cart Stolen Near Nandanvan, Sakkardara Police Registere Offence

Nagpur: The Sakkardara Police have registered a theft case after a street vendor’s handcart went missing from Nandanvan Cement Road in Nagpur.


The complainant, 30-year-old Rahul Amrit Khare, a resident of Nehru Nagar near Shitala Mata Temple, runs a chana-poha stall on a four-wheeled handcart near the Indian Petrol Pump. On February 5, 2026, around 2 PM, he closed his business for the day and left his cart at the spot before returning home.


When he returned on February 8 at around 7 AM, the handcart was missing. After searching for it in nearby areas and failing to locate it, Khare lodged a complaint on February 12.


Based on his complaint, Sakkardara Police registered a case under Section 303(2) of the BNS against an unknown accused.


The FIR was recorded by PSI Ashwini Katre. Police have begun efforts to identify and trace the thief using technical and field investigation methods, and further inquiry is in progress.
