Shop Burgled in New Kamptee, Cash and Goods Worth ₹1.4 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: Unidentified burglars broke into a shop in New Kamptee and decamped with cash and goods worth ₹1.4 lakh, police said on Tuesday.
Mahendra Keshavrao Potbhare (52), a resident of Plot No. 193, behind Goyal Talkies, owns a shop named “Daily Needs and Cold Drinks” at Balaji Complex near Pankaj Mangal Karyalaya. He had locked the shop on the night of April 21 and returned the next morning to find the shutters broken.
Cash worth ₹1.35 lakh and other shop items, totaling ₹1.4 lakh, were found missing. Acting on his complaint, PSI Tidke of New Kamptee Police Station registered a case under Sections 305 and 334(1) of BNS. The investigation is underway to trace the culprit.
