Nagpur: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Mankapur, Koradi Road, and Friends Colony on Friday, May 30, due to essential maintenance and repair work.
In a press release, MSEDCL has appealed to residents to take note of the planned power cut and cooperate during the period of disruption.
According to the official schedule issued by MSEDCL, power supply will remain suspended from 10 am to 11 am in the following areas:
- Indiranagar Slum
- Faras Petrol Pump
- Rachana Madhuban
- Dharampeth Mahila Cooperative Bank
- Mankapur Post Office
- Mankapur Chowk
- Awad Hospital
- Taj Nagar
- Koradi Road
- Shambhu Nagar
- Tirupati Nagar
- SKD
- Rajat Heights
- Domino’s Pizza on Koradi Road
Additionally, areas like Baba Faridnagar, Gayatri Nagar, Rathi Layout, Aashirwad School, Green Field Society, Adivasi Society, Gawande Layout, Mankapur, Geetanjali Nagar, and MB Town will also face power cuts from 10 am to 11 am.
However, a longer outage is scheduled from 10 am to 2 pm for:
- Utkarsh Nagar
- Narmada Colony
- Friends Colony
- MHADA Colony
- Vastushilp Colony
- Sachin Society
- Welcome Society
- Phalke Layout
- Kolbaswami Area
- Netaji Society
MSEDCL has expressed regret for the inconvenience and assured that efforts will be made to complete the maintenance within the scheduled timeframe. Citizens are urged to cooperate during the planned outage.
