Operation Shakti: Cops Busts Sex Racket at Dwell Stays Cocktail Camel Farm House in Kamptee

Nagpur: Under the directives of Hon’ble Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal, the Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Crime Branch, Nagpur City, carried out a successful raid under Operation Shakti and busted a prostitution racket operating from a farmhouse in New Kamptee.


The raid was conducted on August 1, 2025, between 3:55 PM and 9:30 PM at Dwell Stays Cocktail Camel Farm House, located in Aajani village under the jurisdiction of New Kamptee Police Station.


During the operation, police arrested Lata Vijay Belek ar (65) and Ishan Prakash Bhoyar (21), both residents of New Kamptee, while another accused, Amol Vijay Manavatkar, managed to escape and is currently absconding.


Acting on the complaint of HC Kishor Thakre from the SSB, a case was registered under Sections 143(2)(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.


Police seized property worth ₹15,433 from the spot, including ₹1,500 in cash, three mobile phones (Techno, Vivo, and Lava), a visitor register, and two packets of condoms. Investigations revealed that the accused were luring women into prostitution by promising them quick monetary gains. Two women victims were rescued during the raid.


The operation was led by PI Rahul Shire and comprised API Shivaji Nanaware, HC Kishor Thakre, HC Ram Nirgudwar, NPC Sheshrao Raut, PC Ashwin Mange, PC Kunal Masram, PC Sameer Sheikh, PC Kunal Bodakhe, WHC Arti Chouhan, and Anup Yadav.


Police have intensified efforts to trace and arrest the absconding accused.
