Nagpur: In a tragic accident in Wathoda, a 26-month-old boy died after falling from a balcony railing while his father was inspecting a rental property nearby.

The incident occurred between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17 at Plot No. 54, Durga Nagar, opposite Ganga Celebration. 

The boy, Sarang Amol Tote, was with his father Amol Sunil Tote (35), a resident of Aradhana Nagar, Wathoda, when he accidentally fell from the gallery. He sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to Orbit Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 5:30 PM.

Based on the father’s statement, Wathoda Police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigations are on.
