Nagpur: Yashodhara Nagar Police have registered a case against unidentified burglars who broke into a locked house in Rani Durgavati Nagar and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth approximately Rs 12 lakh.

According to the complainant, Suman Durgadas Pendam (55), she had locked her house (Quarter No. 471) on April 17 between 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM to attend a family function at Pachpaoli. During her absence, unidentified miscreants broke the main door lock, entered the house, and looted Rs 15,000 in cash and gold ornaments from a bedroom cupboard.

Based on her complaint, Sub-Inspector Telrandhe has registered a case under BNS Sections 305(A) and 331(3). Further investigation is underway.
