Nagpur: As per the promise made by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal issued an official order on Saturday evening regarding the relaxation of curfew restrictions in the city. The updated curfew regulations come in response to recent disturbances, aiming to restore normalcy while ensuring public safety.
Updated Curfew Guidelines for Nagpur
1. Full Curfew Lifted:
Effective from March 22, 2025, at 7:00 PM, curfew restrictions have been completely lifted in Zone 3(Pachpaoli, Shantinagar, and Lakadganj) and Zone 4(Sakkardara and Imamwada police station areas).
2. Partial Relaxation:
In Zone 3 areas covering Kotwali, Tehsil, and Ganeshpeth, the curfew will be relaxed from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on March 22, 2025. However, after 10:00 PM, the curfew will be reinstated to maintain law and order.
3. Curfew Continues in Yashodharanagar:The Yashodharanagar area (Zone 5)will remain under curfew until further ordersas authorities continue to assess the situation.
Authorities Urge Citizens to Follow Regulations:
The Nagpur Police have urged residents to adhere to the revised curfew guidelines and cooperate with law enforcement to prevent any further disturbances. Additional security personnel have been deployed in sensitive areas to ensure peace and stability.
