Externed Criminal Apprehended by Bajaj Nagar Police in Nagpur

Nagpur: Bajaj Nagar Police arrested a man who had been externed from the city but was found loitering near a chicken shop in Shraddhanand Peth here, on Friday, March 14.
During a routine patrol, police received a tip-off about the suspect’s presence. When confronted, the man attempted to flee but was caught. He was identified as Kamal Mahesh Daka (29), a resident of Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur.
A records check confirmed that he had been exiled from Nagpur city and rural areas for two years under orders issued on November 12, 2024. His presence in the city without authorization suggested he might have been planning a crime.
Police have registered an offence under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act, and further investigation is underway.
