The move highlights the division’s aggressive focus on revenue growth, passenger convenience, and modernization of railway infrastructure.
According to railway officials, the newly awarded contracts include 15 Non-Fare Revenue (NFR) contracts and 3 catering contracts aimed at improving passenger amenities while strengthening the division’s financial performance.

The division is also tapping into the commercial potential of railway properties by developing new “Out of Hoarding” advertising sites at Godhani and Jaripatka.
These locations are being identified as strategic advertising zones that can help generate additional non-fare revenue for the railways.
Apart from commercial projects, operational improvement initiatives have also been awarded, including:
- Empty wagon cleaning contracts

Railway authorities believe these measures will improve efficiency, cleanliness, and operational safety.
