Burglary in Sadi Sansar, Manbhavana Sadi & Sankalp Sadi Shops in Gandhibagh, Nagpur; Thieves Steal ₹6.75 Lakh Cash

Nagpur: A major burglary was reported in Gandhibagh wholesale cloth market, where unidentified thieves targeted three shops, stealing cash worth ₹6,75,000. The incident occurred between 9:00 PM on January 12 and 11:00 AM on January 13, 2025.


The complainant, Ashok Khemchand Thawani (55), a resident of Jayshree Plaza, Behramji Town, informed Tehsil Police Station that the shops—1) Sadi Sansar, 2) Manbhavana Sadi, and 3) Sankalp Sadi—were broken into by removing iron rods from the bathroom and toilet windows. The stolen cash included ₹3,50,000 from Sadi Sansar, ₹1,50,000 from Manbhavana Sadi, and ₹1,75,000 from Sankalp Sadi.


Tehsil Police Station has registered a case under Sections 305(a), 331(3), and 331(4) of the BNS. Cops are working to identify and apprehend the culprits involved in the burglary.
