Voting Commences for Nagpur District’s 12 Assembly Constituencies in 2024 Vidhan Sabha Election

Nagpur: Polling for the 12 assembly constituencies in Nagpur district began at 7 a.m. on Wednesday as part of the 2024 Vidhan Sabha elections. A total of 217 candidates are in the electoral fray, vying for the votes of over 45 lakh registered voters in the district.
To facilitate the voting process, authorities have set up 4,631 polling booths across the district, including auxiliary polling stations. The voting process is expected to proceed smoothly with adequate arrangements in place to ensure high voter turnout.
