Nagpur: A 44-year-old man was found severely injured on the railway tracks near Barse Nagar along the Kolkata railway line under Pachpaoli police jurisdiction on the evening of November 18.

The victim, identified as Shyam Yashwant Telghare, a resident of Kurhadkarpeth, Lashkaribag, was discovered by authorities in a critical condition.

Police rushed him to Mayo Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Following a report filed by railway employee Nirdeshkumar Devanand Sondawale, 35, a resident of Nirmal Colony, Nara, Jaripatka, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered at Pachpaoli Police Station.

Further inquiries are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances leading to the incident.
