Nagpur: Acting on reliable information received during patrolling, Crime Branch Unit No. 5 police apprehended a woman who had been previously exiled from Nagpur city and its rural limits. The accused, identified as Nalini alias Soni Siddharth Kamble, 32, was found at her residence near Anaj Godown, Vikatubaba Nagar, under the jurisdiction of New Kamptee police station.

A search of her residence confirmed her presence, violating the externment order issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) under Notification No. 15/2024 dated September 16, 2024. According to the order, she was banned from entering Nagpur city and its rural areas.

The accused, found within city limits without authorization, has been booked under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act at New Kamptee police station. She has been taken into custody.

This operation was carried out under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Ravindra Kumar Singal, Additional Commissioner of Police Nisar Tamboli, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sanjay Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detection) Rahul Makanikar, and Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime) Abhijit Patil. The operation was executed by Police Inspector Rahul Shire and his team from Crime Branch Unit No. 5.
