Nagpur: In yet another shocking instance highlighting the unruly nightlife in the city, residents of Dharampeth were left disturbed as a group of young boys created chaos during the early hours of Thursday.

The incident took place between 3:30 AM and 4:00 AM in Lane No. 4, Dharampeth. According to locals, the group of youths—allegedly from well-off families—were seen driving recklessly, honking loudly, and smoking in the middle of the street. Several among them had removed their shirts, further intensifying the disturbance in the otherwise quiet residential area.

Dipak Thakre, a local resident, captured a video of the ruckus and shared it with Nagpur News. He said, “Reckless driving, honking, and wrong-side parking have become common in our Dharampeth locality. But what happened last night was alarming and downright frightening. This kind of behavior threatens the safety and peace of our neighborhood.”

With multiple nightclubs operating in and around the locality, such late-night disruptions have become a common sight in Dharampeth. In an earlier incident, a parking dispute in the same area escalated into violence, resulting in car windows being smashed. Despite repeated complaints, the absence of significant police deployment has left residents vulnerable, forcing them to suffer in silence as public safety continues to deteriorate.
