Nagpur: Passengers travelling on the CSMT–Gondia Vidarbha Express will face temporary disruption as Train No. 12105/12106 Vidarbha Express will run only up to Nagpur due to ongoing track and infrastructure work at Gondia station under the South East Central Railway (SECR).
The temporary arrangement has been introduced to facilitate railway infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving operational efficiency and passenger safety.
CSMT–Gondia Vidarbha Express to Short Terminate at Nagpur
According to railway officials, Train No. 12105 CSMT–Gondia Vidarbha Express will short terminate at Nagpur station from May 3 to May 23, 2026, and will not operate between Nagpur and Gondia during this period.
Gondia–CSMT Vidarbha Express to Start From Nagpur
Similarly, Train No. 12106 Gondia–CSMT Vidarbha Express will originate from Nagpur stationinstead of Gondia from May 3 to May 23, 2026.
This means passengers travelling to or from Gondia will need to make alternate travel arrangements for the affected stretch.
42 Total Trips to Be Impacted
Railway authorities stated that 21 trips in each direction, totaling 42 services, will be affected during the maintenance period.
Passengers are advised to check updated train schedules, running status and platform information before starting their journey.
Railways Express Regret
Indian Railways has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to passengers and assured that normal services will resume immediately after completion of the work.
Officials said the ongoing upgrades at Gondia station are expected to improve railway safety, infrastructure capacity and the overall travel experience for commuters.
