Nagpur: Pratap Nagar Police returned stolen gold ornaments worth approximately ₹4 lakh to a theft complainant, following the completion of legal proceedings.

The recovered items include 12 gold chains and 5 mangalsutras, weighing 37 grams in total. The jewellery had been seized from accused persons in a previously registered theft case and stored in the police station’s property room.

On July 11, as per court directives, the valuables were officially handed over to Manisha Prashant Dhomne (51), a resident of Premkunj Nivas, Pandurang Gawande Nagar, Nagpur by Senior Police Inspector Pankaj Bodse.

Expressing her satisfaction, the complainant thanked the police for their prompt and effective action in recovering her stolen property.
