Nagpur: Unidentified burglars broke into a locked house in the Golcha Marg area of Sadar and made away with cash and gold ornaments worth approximately ₹2 lakh while the homeowner was away in Delhi.

According to police, the incident took place between 6 PM on April 15, 2025, and 4:30 PM on April 16, 2025. Rahul Istari Dikondwar (50), who resides at Golcha Marg, Sadar, had locked his house and traveled to Delhi. During his absence, unknown miscreants broke the main door lock, entered the bedroom, and looted ₹8,000 in cash along with gold ornaments from an iron almirah.

A complaint was filed by Rahul’s younger brother, Ritesh Istari Dikondwar (48), who resides in the same locality. Based on the complaint, Sadar Police registered a case against unidentified accused under Sections 305, 331(3), 331(4) the BNS.
