Jewelry Stolen from Yavatmal Woman at Snehnagar Bus Stop in Nagpur

Nagpur: A woman’s jewelry worth approximately Rs 3,60,000 was stolen on Tuesday, November 12, around 10:00 am, at the crowded Snehnagar bus stop under Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station.
The victim, Manda Ramesh Pisalkar, 33, a resident of Darwha Road, Yavatmal, was boarding a bus to Darwha with her husband when a female suspect allegedly bumped into her, creating a distraction.
During the brief encounter, the suspect managed to slip a small purse containing a mangalsutra and a chapalakanthi necklace out of Pisalkar’s bag. Pisalkar only realized the theft after taking her seat on the bus and checking her bag.
Following her complaint, Pratapnagar Police registered a case under Section 303(2) of the BNS.
