Employee Booked for Betraying Company, Misusing Cheques to Withdraw Over ₹27 Lakh in Nagpur

Nagpur: A company general manager has filed a complaint against an employee who allegedly betrayed the firm’s trust by misusing signed cheques and withdrawing a total of ₹27.8 lakh from the company’s bank account.


The complainant, Antony Francis Edward Peter (43), originally from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, and currently residing on Koradi Road, Nagpur, works as General Manager with multiple companies including DMS Enterprises, S Prince Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd., Priyanka Energetech Pvt. Ltd., Priya Tech, and Prince Thermal India Pvt. Ltd.


According to the complaint, the accused Anand Arun Uike (26), a resident of Gopal Nagar, Nagpur, was responsible for handling the company’s banking transactions. Taking advantage of his position and access to pre-signed cheques by Director Augustin Joseph Stalin, he allegedly withdrew ₹27,80,800 and then went absconding.


Based on the complaint, Sadar Police have registered a case under Section 316(4) of the BNS.
