Closure of Platform No. 7 at Nagpur Station for Major Upgradation Work – Train Originations and Terminations Shifted to Ajni Station

Nagpur: The Nagpur Division of Central Railway will undertake a major upgradation work at Platform No. 7 of Nagpur Station in coordination with the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). For the smooth execution of this critical redevelopment activity, Platform No. 7 will remain closed for a period of 52 days from July 4, 2025.


In addition, a 2-hour Corridor Traffic Block will be taken on Platform No. 6 for 5 days, which will not impact train operations.


Train Services Affected:


 Due to the closure of Platform No. 7, the following trains will be short-originated and short-terminated at Ajni Station instead of Nagpur for the full 52-day period.


Short Origination from Ajni Station:


Train No. 22137 Nagpur–Ahmedabad Express will depart from Ajni at 08:29 hrs (Wed, Sat, Sun)


Train No. 11403 Nagpur–Kolhapur Express will depart from Ajni at 15:28 hrs (Tue, Sat)


Train No. 22142 Nagpur–Pune Express will depart from Ajni at 15:25 hrs (Friday)


Short Termination at Ajni Station:

Train No. 22138 Ahmedabad–Nagpur Express will arrive at Ajni at 10:15 hrs (Mon, Tue, Fri)


Train No. 11404 Kolhapur–Nagpur Express will arrive at Ajni at 11:23 hrs (Tue, Fri)


Train No. 22141 Pune–Nagpur Express will arrive at Ajni at 12:47 hrs (Friday)


Passengers are requested to note the change in train origin and destination points and plan their travel accordingly. Nagpur Division is committed to ensuring smooth operations during this period and regrets the inconvenience caused.
