Women Thieves Steal Gold Worth ₹2.6 Lakh in E-Rickshaw Heist in Sakkardara, Nagpur

Nagpur: Sakkardara police have registered a case against two unidentified women who stole gold ornaments worth ₹2.6 lakh from a commuter traveling in an e-rickshaw. The incident occurred on Sunday, January 19, between 3:00 PM and 3:15 PM.
The victim, a 56-year-old woman, was traveling from Ganeshpeth bus stop to Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Manewada Road. The accused discreetly opened the chain of her bag and stole the gold ornaments while en route.
Based on the victim’s complaint, Sakkardara police have registered a case under Section 303(2) of the BNS. Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the suspects.
