Nagpur: An unidentified man aged around 50 years was found unconscious on a public road near Medical Chowk under the jurisdiction of Ajni Police Station on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, the incident came to light around 4 pm on May 21, 2026, near a shop owned by Vijay Chavan at Medical Chowk. The man was found lying unconscious on the roadside.

Police immediately shifted him to Government Medical Hospital for treatment, where doctors examined him and declared him dead before admission.

The deceased is described as wheatish in complexion, medium build, around 5 feet 5 inches tall, with black-and-white hair. He was wearing a black-and-white checked full-sleeve shirt and khaki pants.

Police said the identity of the deceased has not yet been established and efforts are underway to identify him and ascertain the cause of death.
