Theft at Ganeshpeth Bus Stand; Gold Ornaments Worth ₹2.41 Lakh Stolen

Nagpur: A woman travelling to her hometown for Diwali was robbed of gold ornaments worth ₹2.41 lakh at the Ganeshpeth Bus Stand on Saturday morning.
According to police, the complainant Neha Sajal Vishwakarma (40), a resident of Sankalp Nagar, Bhandara, had arrived at the Nagpur bus stand around 8.45 am to board an ST bus to Bhandara. While she was getting into the bus, an unknown person opened the chain of her handbag and stole a small box containing gold ornaments.
Based on her complaint, Ganeshpeth Police registered an offence under Section 379(2) of the BNS against the unidentified accused. The investigation is underway.
