Nagpur: An unidentified elderly man, believed to be around 80 years old, was found dead in a well near Jagruteshwar Temple under the Tehsil Police jurisdiction on Saturday morning.

Locals spotted the body floating in the well around 7.30 am and informed the police. The man was pulled out and rushed to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Tehsil Police have registered a case of accidental death under Section 174 of the CrPC, and further investigation is being conducted by PSI Khan to ascertain the identity and cause of death.
