Nagpur: A 38-year-old truck driver from Rajasthan was killed on the spot when his vehicle rammed into another truck on the city’s Outer Ring Road near Velahari early Sunday morning.
According to Beltarodi police, the victim, Arif Subbi Khan of Somka village in Dig district, Rajasthan, was transporting cargo for an ITS company from Bilaspur to Bengaluru. Around 6 a.m. on September 15, his truck (registration HR 55 AX 2237) collided from behind with another truck (GJ 03 BV 7325) near Velahari within Beltarodi police limits.
Arif sustained grievous injuries and died instantly. His brother Mubarik Khan (22), also from Somka, lodged a report with Beltarodi Police. An accidental death entry has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the collision.
